Tomiyasu is said to be "ready to leave" Arsenal in the January transfer window after losing prominence at the Emirates. Arsenal are willing to allow Tomiyasu to leave for a fee of around €20 million (£16.7m).

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Tomiyasu missed pre-season and the start of the new Premier League campaign with a knee injury. He is still yet to return to full training but may struggle for minutes when he is finally passed fit. Arsenal signed Riccardo Calafiori in the summer from Bologna and his arrival is likely to spell bad news for Tomiyasu.
